Second marking period: New lessons. New experiences. All I can say is that it has been a busy grading period yet very enjoyable. Entering the world of HTML (Mark-up language) has a great importance to us and it adds knowledge on how does the browser display the page. I have learned creating HTML file and we work/tried it in one of the types of HTML editor which is the Notepad. But this was only the start of my learning’s and discoveries because I learned more about this. I’m surprised also that I can still edit my page to make it more beautiful by turning it to underline, italic, superscript, subscript, bold, and many more; that was not the end tag. I have learned also about the font attributes which I can format the text using font size, font attributes, font face, font color.

But like the other stories there always be complications, problems, conflict. Running out of time in doing our activities and sometimes I didn’t understand the instructions/ steps in doing the activity. Those are some of my problems and complications that I encountered in this grading. And I overcome/ solved my problem by using my time wisely and I read and reviewed the steps and instructions in our activities. And once a problem is solved, its simplicity is amazing.

Moving on, I will try harder and I will be more focus on my studies. And be always happy and contented. Also, I will be more confident and I always remember that no matter what happen God is always been there for me.

Ilocos Sur National High School had its 2014 Intramurals last September. Different events where participated in by the students from First year to Fourth year. The said event served as an avenue to promote teamwork, honesty, good camaraderie, and sportsmanship. Besides this activity gives a chance to the students to be relaxed and get away from the daily routinely activity inside the classroom.

The highlight of the said Intramurals was the selection of Mr.  & Ms. Sports Fest. The event was successfully done by the happiness and shouts of joy by the students.

WHO is a BETTER Superhero?

Seldom can we see now a day’s people who have the passion to be a part in the transformation of the world. People: who are after the welfare of the children/students in the future. People: who still engage themselves in a work that needs commitment and devotion, yet with a limited compensation. These are the teachers.

Yes, my teacher you are the unsung hero for me. Why? Because of you, many lives have become meaningful and useful. With your unconditional love and guidance, many have realized that life is worthy and they treasure that life. My teacher, maybe you do not know or feel how happy and grateful me are I our day to day activities in school. The way we can see you’re sacrifices, dedication, courage and compassion so that you can only be an agent of change as an inspiration to us. What an exemplary attitude you have, when stubborn pupils/students showed undesirable behaviors, yet you still remain calm and kind. Rain or shine my teacher is always on the “go” to school because he/she is true to what he pledged for.

My teacher, you unveil my innocence in me. You created and developed in me the value of education by providing in my life-long experiences that I can use for a lifetime. With your traits and character, I am building on me a great and responsible person in the future which my family, school and the community are proud of.

Thank you very much my dear teacher. You are always in my heart for you are a part of what I am today and what I will be in the future.
